This week in ELA:
*Reader's Workshop: We are using our literature circle books to discuss inference and summary skills.
*Writer's Workshop: We are working on the final edits and revisions of our fiction narrative.
Upcoming Dates/News:
*This Friday, school is closed in observance of Good Friday.
*Students fiction narrative is due by end of class this Wednesday, April 12 (major grade)
*Fiction Test on Tuesday, April 18th (major grade)
** Students have an opportunity for extra credit by submitting a copy of non-fiction article that they find in magazines, etc. that relates to their literature circle book. This is due by Monday, April 17th.
Homework: Students will are expected to read 20 minutes a day and log their reading on their book logs.
